We will start actively reviewing applications for seasonal roles at the end of March. Please ensure you have included your CV, if you do not have one you can write a couple of sentences to summarise your work history and why you think you should work at Hugh Lowe Farms.
Our busy season starts in May when our crops need to be harvested and finishes in September when the weather gets cooler and the days shorter.
If you do not have the right to work in the UK we are not able to offer employment.
Hugh Lowe Farms does not have a sponsor licence, this means we cannot help with visa applications. Once you have obtained the right to work in the UK please re-apply.
In the UK the ‘Seasonal Worker Programme’ allows successful candidates to work in the UK agricultural and horticultural sector for 6 months. The visa is known as the Seasonal Worker Visa or a Tier 5 visa.
There are 5 registered licenced sponsors as of January 2023.
You must communicate directly with the scheme operators – you should only pay for the cost of the VISA and your travel to the UK. It is illegal for third party organisations to charge applicants to work on a UK farm – if you are unsure if the offer is legitimate please ask the scheme operators for verification.
